It’s not as easy as it looks going out into the world and saving Princess Zelda every time she gets kidnapped. Sometimes it takes brains. Sometimes it takes braun. It takes a weapon to beat the crap out of your 8-bit enemies. So when Link receives his first sword in the original NES version of The Legend of Zelda he was given hope, the world was given a new hero, and the interweb was given a meme.
So whenever you find yourself in a dark place and you need a super powered weapon, the words you hope to hear are “IT’S DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE! TAKE THIS.”
Of course we can’t always be fighting giant spiders, dinosaurs, dragons and monster crabs, the week has started and it’s time for you to be a weekday warrior. LOOK OUT! “Grumpiness” appears in the tall grass! Oh no, it’s teaming up with a really bad day at work and a boss who doesn’t get how awesome you are and a roommate-crashing-on-the-couch who promised to do the dishes but didn’t. What will you do?! How will you cheer yourself up? You need a kitteh!

This shirt’s design is inspired by the 8-bit art-style of the source material, and is guaranteed to help you in your journey to collect all of the pieces of the kitteh triforce and ultimately defeat Kitty Gannondorf. Also, if you run into any problems, might we recommend taking the cartridge out and blowing into the contacts? That usually works. Warning: Blowing directly onto the kitteh may make kitteh angry.

The sizes were quite confusing (bodywith size XL, waist S, shoulders M..) but I went with womens XL just to be sure it fits.

Alright – I need a little size help from those familiar with these shirts. I’m male. About 130 pounds and 5’10″. I like my shirts fitted and therefore have ALWAYS bought smalls and they’ve NEVER been too small. I’ve only ever had two problems that I can recall. On one shirt, the sleeves were way too short. On the other, the length of the shirt was shorter than I’d have preferred.
Could anyone shed some light on whether I would be good sticking with my norm of buying size small or if I’m going to have to get a medium and risk it being too large? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
I would get a medium. The smalls are pretty much kid’s shirts. Anyway, I has a HAPPY to see this shirt!!! want SOOOOO bad. must scrape the barrel now.
Actually, maybe you should get a large, as I’m female, I’m 5’2″, and my medium unisex shirt was almost too short. With how tall you are, I’d stick to a large although it won’t be tight, but at least it will be long enough. look at the size fitting.

For DJ Enigma; the previous shirt I ordered was the Monorail-themed which was also tight fitted, and I ordered my normal size, M, and it fits perfectly. So my advice would be to stick to your normal small size. Perhaps the suggestions are for people who want baggy clothes?
Maybe DJ Enigma should measure himself or a shirt that already fits him well (body width, shoulders etc.) and compare those measurements with the size chart? It’s not that hard.
I love these shirts, but won’t waste my money on them again. They are sized for kids. I put my women’s xl lolshirt against a child’s large t-shirt, and they are the same size.
Bought NerdLove, loved it so much and it actually fit DH (bought Men’s 2XL). The womens sizes are ridiculously tiny, though.. are all women supposed to be 5’2 and 100lbs?
Well we did have the original problem that these womens sizes were closer to a Junior size than a true ladies fitment. With the complaints that is when we moved up to a larger women’s size. There is a chance we could add junior sizing, but we need to get the kinks worked out with the new blank vendor first.
ohmygosh! i would totally get this.. if i knew if the shirt would fit.. i’d hate to spend money on it and it not fit even with largest size.. -sigh-
I love these fitted sized shirts. They actually fit me and look good. Not over-sized, baggy, and completely un-flattering like the new shirts. I’m also happy this shirt is being reprinted. I was so sad when I missed it the first time.
I want this shirt so bad and I missed the first print. Now I have no money because I spent it all on school… Maybe if I’m lucky it will have another reprint someday
I’m 5’1″ and 110 lbs, actually. Why is it okay to insult petite people? I don’t insult curvy girls. People aren’t all one manufactured android size; life and genetics would be pretty boring otherwise (not to mention genetic breakdown from the inbreeding/cloning that would be required for creating such entities) The new shirts are a bit baggier than I’d prefer, but I’m used to tailoring my clothes at this point.
