Quick Or We’ll Never Catch It!

Is your refrigerator running?

So you think your refrigerator might be running? Try checking the cord in the back. Is it plugged into the wall? Or is it unplugged so that he can have a place to charge his Nike + iPod Shuffle? Your refrigerator might be getting ready for a run. Also, do you fill him with fruits and vegetables but then next time you check he’s full of breads and pasta? He might be carb loading. And that magnet-backed pedometer that’s pretending to hold up your child’s crayon drawing, it might be there for another reason.
This gives fast food a whole new meaning. Maybe it makes fast food better for you, right? I mean, you’ve got to catch it first. But what if they start letting fridges into the NFL? William Perry is going to be pretty upset that someone is biting on his moniker. What do you mean William Perry hasn’t played in the NFL since 1994? Does that mean I have to stop humming the Superbowl Shuffle?
What do you mean refrigerators haven’t really gained sentience and started running in local marathons? What do you mean this is just a prank call? Well I don’t really appreciate this one bit! Oh man, what are we going to do with our new line of LOL Fridge Shirts, shirts designed specifically for jogging refrigerators? Oh man.

Please see our FAQ for Sizing. These are the first of the new line of shirts with true sizing. We still recommend that you read the measurements on the FAQ to confirm your size before you order.

** UPDATE **

Howdy, Shirts customers and commenters – some of you have pointed out that this design is very similar to a design that Threadless recently issued.  Well, you’re right – they do look similar.  While no one “owns” the design (and the joke is CRAZY old), we didn’t do our homework well enough to know that Threadless offered a similar shirt recently.  So, we didn’t steal the design or concept from them – we promise!

That being said, we’ll do a better job going forward to make sure we’re aware of these sorts of things before coming up with new shirts and designs.

Always striving to make you happy,

- the Lolmart team :-)

  • LMAO!!! Love it!

My brother used to prank call people up when we were kids and ask “Is your refrigerator running? And they wouldn’t get and would say yes, and he’d say, well, you better go catch it! :D

  • flyingskwerl says:

2 days till the next design.

    *SIGH*

(Chanting) Super Kitten, Ouchy-Bleedy, Grumpy Button Kittehs Pleeze!

  • Isa says:

If the shirt would say “Is your refrigerator running? – Then you better go catch it!”

    That would be awesome :-)

  • Monty says:

gee, that’s eerily similar to this:

    http://www.threadless.com/product/850/Refrigerator_Running

    Just sayin.

  • DiBat says:

If the shirt had “Quick, or we’ll never catch it!” actually written on it then I would be looking in my couch for lost change so I could afford to order one. Unfortunately, as it stands, I’m not amused enough to buy it. If you did a reprint in the future with the addition of funny text…

  • Raymatts14 says:

Ugg there hasn’t been a shirt I loved in a long time :(
Please to reprint Firefox has crashed?

  • coolios says:

Oh noeses, we have to start chanting again.
    Kittehs! Kittehs! Kittehs!…

  • Yoda says:

It’d be nice if there was a logo or phrase on the shirt but I do like it as it is. I would consider getting this and the shirt quality is deffinately increasing since the o hai slump. I’m still peeved that I missed the hovercat one and the receive bacon one. If only there was some way to bring them back….. but there isnt. That’s the thing about this store. Oh well, guess I’ll just keep waiting until one that’s slightly better comes up.

    • shmemily says:

you CAN bring them back by voting on previous shirts of the day! more votes = better chance of a reprint

  • april says:

when is shocked kitty coming up? i want it soooooo bad!

  • cusmh says:

    Wow. Lame.

  • When I copy and paste the URL to this page, it changes different than what’s shown in the address bar.

    http://lolmart.com/product/lolmart-shirts-quick-or-we%E2%80%99ll-never-catch-it/

    The we’ll is turning into this… we%E2%80%99ll

    • It’s something to do with the apostrophe.

      This one copied and pasted…
      we’ll

This one typed out on keyboard…
      we’ll

      See the difference?

That one character is changing the whole URL.

      This… %E2%80%99

I do part time HTML work, so I catch these things quite often.

  • Kittehhhh says:

My bf saw this image a while back and hes been like “we should do that to your fridge” so then i showed him the shirt and now I had to buy it for him so he can has happy. Lol

  • Anna says:

Why have these changed to ‘shirt of a few days’ instead of the ‘shirt of the day’? I get the longer times for over the weekend, but during the week, move it back to ‘shirt of the DAY’.

    • Raymatts14 says:

      I completely agree

    • And we’d all be broke too. I do good just be able to get what I have already.

I can’t afford everyday. I would have to miss those that I really want. And that would give me an even greater sad.

      • Isa says:

        Then you got 2 choices.

        1 – Earn more money.
2 – Don’t buy any shirt, just the ones you REALLY like.

        • You mean work all three shifts to earn more money? I already work more than 8 hours a day anyway.

And I happen to like ALOT of the shirts.

So, I like them being ran for two or more days.

          • Anna says:

Sounds like you are a shopaholic.

They should either put a new t-shirt up everyday (minus the weekends) or change the title from ‘shirt of the day’.

    • Lis says:

I agree; shirts are more expensive and less frequent.
Six shirts in two weeks is uninspiring.

      • Raymatts14 says:

I don’t even like this “shirt of the day” stuff cause when you miss one that you really love it is very dissapointing.

What if they released like 3 shirts at once and had them available for a whole week or something?

        • Lis says:

That’s still six shirts in two weeks.

Maybe if they had five shirts all available for a week, that would be better for me, but with so many of the new shirts being text only/no picture, and up for so long, it’s just not something I’m interested in for one day, let alone two or three.

          • eugene says:

            Hi Lis,

The problem is that when we left shirts up for a single day, folks really complained because they missed the shirt. We may try some of these suggestions. With this new ecommerce system, it may be possible to test this out.

            Thanks,
            Eugene

          • The reason I like the shirts staying up longer, cause it’s more time inbetween shirts.

Some of us have to pay rent, car payments, and other bills, you know.

          • Lis says:

Kindly don’t insinuate that I don’t have all the bills you have; I too have to pay rent, tuition, electric, phone, water, car… I just have the luxury of being able to balance them all with the extra money left over to buy 1-2 tshirts every few weeks. I do not want to purchase each shirt that is shown, which is maybe the difference here? Either way, I think maybe showing two shirts every two-three days would be a better way that could make everyone happy. That way, people would have a few days to buy them, but people who like more frequent changes get to see 4-6 shirts a week.

            Just another option :)

  • egghjk says:

rofl! so cute its smileis cute

  • Amber Arunika says:

LOL, I love all the shirts of the days!

  • TAHINAZ says:

I a want Space Bacon Kitteh shirt.

  • Cybergata says:

If the shirts were still $15.00 for a 2X instead of $20.00, I would get this shirt. It is so funny, but I have to keep it to must have kitteh shirts.

  • Doos says:

    very nice!
Btw there is a dutch commercial with a walking fride you might wanna check it out.

  • Kyuubi says:

    *snickers*

Oh, um. *ahem* When I first saw this, I lol’d.

    ~Kyuubi

  • Kye says:

    I lovee this shirt,
but I just got my ‘CephaliPod’ shirt today, and it’s not skinny/women’s fit at all =/ I wish that we could order the new t-shirts with the old sizes, as well.

  • Ispy says:

Re. reprints: I have been patiently waiting for the “It’s dangerous to go alone” shirt to be reprinted and figured it was only a matter of time given its popularity (1000++ votes), but when I checked on it just now it suddenly had ZERO votes?!?

Have all the votes to bring back shirts been lost during the merging of the stores? I think the best way to fix this is to reprint “It’s dangerous…” ASAP! ;)

    • eugene says:

      Thanks Ispy,
It’s an ongoing process bringing over data from the old site to this new one. Sorry for losing some of the vote info.

      • Figas says:

*sigh*.. Thanks!! Now that’s a relief, because I noticed the same thing about “Epic fail Cat”, which I’ve been voting relentlessly since Its gone, and when the website changed, its votes came to nearly half!!

Oh, and I also hope You bring back Innocent kitteh to the designs with all its votes, or else I has a huge sad..

    • TuuttiKuutamo says:

I’ve noticed the same thing… And the votes given don’t seem to “stick” anymore :/ I mean that if I vote, for example It’s dangerous to go alone -shirt, it has 1 vote for a while, but when I refresh the page it’s back to zero votes again. This is frustrating because there are quite a few shirts I’ve been voting daily hoping for a reprint… but I’m sure you guys are doing everything you can to fix these things :)

(Reprinting those shirts would also help ;D)
