What Helicopters Do
So, you’re watching a movie with a helicopter in it. What do you think is going to happen? I’ll give you a clue: the same thing that’s going to happen if you’re watching a movie with a Death Star in it. It’s either going to:
1. Explode.
2. Explode.
3. or, perhaps, Explode.
This shirt celebrates the promise a movie makes to you every time you see a chopper fly onto the scene: someone is gonna blow that bad boy to the ground. It’s why we all get a strange feeling when we see a News Channel helicopter fly by us. How is it staying in the air so long? Why hasn’t John McClane already rocket-launchered it out of here to save the day?
Based on this graph, I hypothesize that helicopters are like the bubble wrap of action flicks. They should serve some purpose, like transporting survivors or protecting fragile valuables during shipping, but we’d much rather just squeeze ‘em till they pop-pop.
Well, if you all will excuse me, I have to GET TO THE CHOPPER.

I don’t get it… or at least I don’t find it as funny as usual. How come they don’t make the shirts that people voted for?
they have an idea teh one they’ve put up will be very popular, although usually it comes up as annoying that they haven’t put the “your pushing my grumpy button” or “skeptical hippo is skeptical” one.

In response to all the asking for explanations, this is a reference to every helicopter-containing action movie ever. I have never seen an action movie in my life (shocking, right?), but I do know that a lot of stuff explodes.
At the end of Predator, the chopper that Arnold Schwarzenegger tells the girl to get to(sorry i cant remember the names) does not blow up when it comes back to airlift arnold out of the forest where the predator blew himself up.
God, all you people who don’t get the joke are lame.. it’s a helicopter.. look at its rotor, it’s a pie chart.. separated in 3 equal parts.. all the same color.. and there’s a legend explaining what each color represents.. if you don’t get the joke then you definitely need to watch more action movies, or buy yourself a brain instead of a shirt.
Of course we all get what the chart means, that’s simple but it’s not like a “WOW!!!! I totally wanna buy this shirt!! It’s SOOOO AWESOME!!!” for most of us. Maybe it’s just YOU that don’t understand US who don’t want to buy this shirt so STOP saying mean things like ‘maybe you should buy a brain instead of a shirt’.
I don’t get it, so one not funneh vote for meh. How about a rat shirt? Or a hyrax? Or something cool like zombie bacon?

i was watching Towering Inferno over the weekend and the helicopter exploded while it was trying to land and it made NO sense (we even rewinded) so this shirt makes perfect sense to me but it’s not a buy. didn’t one also explode in Tropic Thunder?
Copters do one of three things in action movies. They 1 explode or 2 explode empty or 3 explode full.
It’s true. Helicopters do four things in movies;
1. explode
2. crash into a wall and explode
3. have something dropped onto it which causes it to explode
4. they run into each other and explode on contact
It’s creative enough, but not “OMG I gotta buy it!” creative. This one I am not inclined to buy. Bring back the kitty and animal shirts!

this is definitely a guys shirt. i’ve been watchin so many action movies w/ my boyfriend lately and this shirt makes so much sense. must get it for him. just watched the expendables n there it was, a helicopter explosion, lol.
It’s ok for guys, but not haha funny and not really for girls..and I think girls probably buy most of the shirts. =(

Damn it. I wanted to buy this for my husband to go with his remote control helicopter I got him for Christmas but the men’s Medium size is out of stock! This makes me a very sad panda.
